Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the Mizan Meals app or website. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to the Mizan Meals application, including without limitation the Mizan Meals iOS app, Android app, and website (collectively, the "App"). As used in these Terms, "Mizan Meals", "we", "us", or "our" refers to Mizan Meals, a Qatari-owned company headquartered in Doha, Qatar, and its affiliates.
BY ACCESSING, CREATING AN ACCOUNT, OR OTHERWISE USING THE APP, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS IN THEIR ENTIRETY. Any person or entity who interacts with the App through automated means, including crawlers, robots, browsers, data mining or extraction tools, is deemed to be using the App and bound by these Terms. If at any time you do not accept all of these Terms, you must immediately stop using all or any part of the App.
Your use of the App is also subject to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which are incorporated by reference into these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, to subscribe to a Mizan Meals plan. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete. We may, at any time and at our sole discretion, refuse service or cancel your account.
Your Account
You may be required to register with Mizan Meals to access certain features of the App. Your username, password, and one-time verification codes are for your personal use only. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Mizan Meals will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these obligations.
Online Ordering
If you place an order through the App, you are responsible for ensuring that your order is correct, that the macros, allergies, and dislikes selected match your needs, and that the address designated for delivery is accurate and reachable. You may only place orders if you are at least 18 years old.
Subscription Plans
Mizan Meals offers three subscription plans: Life Style, Fitness, and Body Building. Each plan is available for 1, 6, 12, or 26 days. Your selected plan determines the meals included per day, the macro targets, and the price.
All plans are continuous within their selected duration and run from the start date you choose in the App until the day count is consumed. Off-days you select do not count toward the day count.
- Plans automatically begin on the start date you select in the App.
- You may edit your meals, macros, off-days, allergies, and delivery instructions before the daily cut-off time set in the App.
- Subscriptions do not auto-renew. To continue after your plan ends, you must purchase a new plan.
- Promotional pricing, discount codes, and referral credits are subject to specific terms and may be limited in time, quantity, or to specific user segments.
Prices
All prices shown on the App are in Qatari Riyal (QAR) and may be changed at any time without prior notice. The price available through the App reflects the price available at the current time, in your current market area, and supersedes any prior prices for any product or plan.
From time to time, we may offer promotional pricing, frequency discounts, incentive pricing, loyalty discounts, and other alternative pricing structures for some or all of our subscription plans, to some or all of our customers, at our discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue, modify, or extend such pricing at our discretion without prior notice to you.
Pre-authorization
If you are paying by credit or debit card, we will pre-authorize your card to verify the availability of funds. If your order is modified before pick-up or delivery and the change increases the total, the difference will be charged to your card.
Payment
When you subscribe to a plan, you agree that Mizan Meals or its third-party payment processor is authorized to charge you for the full plan amount, plus any taxes or other applicable charges, at the time of purchase. We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard) and digital wallets where available (Apple Pay, Google Pay).
All payments are processed through PCI-compliant payment partners. Mizan Meals does not store your full card number on its own servers.
Subscriptions Are Non-Cancellable
Once a Mizan Meals subscription has been purchased and confirmed, the subscription cannot be cancelled and the amount paid is non-refundable. By purchasing a plan, you acknowledge and agree that you are committing to the full duration of the plan you selected.
This policy reflects the fact that, immediately upon purchase, we allocate kitchen capacity, ingredients, and delivery slots with our partner restaurants on your behalf. These resources cannot be recovered once committed.
- No cancellation will be accepted after the order is confirmed in the App.
- No partial refunds are issued for unused days, off-days, or skipped meals beyond the off-day allowance built into your plan.
- Exceptions are considered solely at our discretion in cases of documented medical emergency or relocation outside our delivery zone, and may be issued as Mizan Meals credits rather than cash refunds.
Pausing Your Subscription
Pausing the subscription is a feature that may or may not be available to you depending on the plan type, the duration purchased, and the number of days already consumed. The current pause rules for each plan are displayed in the App at the time of purchase and within your subscription dashboard.
Where pausing is available, the following general rules apply:
- Pause requests must be submitted before the daily cut-off time shown in the App; same-day pauses are not possible after the cut-off.
- Paused days do not extend the validity of your subscription beyond the maximum window defined for your plan.
- Pausing does not refund or convert any amount already paid into store credit.
- We reserve the right to limit the number of pause days, the frequency of pauses, or to disable pausing entirely for specific plans, promotional bundles, or short-duration plans (such as 1-day or 6-day plans).
Delivery Policy
We will attempt to deliver your order within the delivery window communicated to you through the App. We reserve the right not to deliver: outside our designated delivery times; outside our delivery zone in Qatar; in inclement weather or dangerous driving conditions; to minors; or in any instance in which we believe delivery would conflict with, compromise, or affect our business or safety standards.
If we are unable to deliver your order because you provided an inaccurate address, were unreachable by phone, or were not at the designated location at the time of delivery, the meal will be considered delivered and you will not be eligible for a refund or replacement.
If you request that your order be left at your door or another location, you will be charged in full and we will have no further liability for loss of product, spoilage, theft, infestation, or damage caused by others, for any delivery left in the specified location.
Third-Party Delivery Services
You acknowledge that we may use third-party delivery services (collectively, the "Delivery Services") to deliver your order. When you place an order with us, we will provide your name, address, contact information including phone number, and information regarding your order to the Delivery Service so that they may deliver your order to you. We may also share comments, reviews, or ratings to help improve service quality.
Out-of-Stock or Substituted Items
If a meal you selected becomes unavailable due to ingredient shortages or a partner restaurant's operational issues, we may substitute it with a comparable meal of equivalent macros from the same or another partner restaurant. Where time allows, we will attempt to contact you to offer a replacement of your choosing. If no comparable meal is available, the meal may be omitted from that day's delivery and credited toward a future day at our discretion.
Multi-Restaurant Network
Mizan Meals is a meal-subscription platform that aggregates meals from independent partner restaurants in Qatar, including (but not limited to) Adrenaline, WZN, and Anabolic Kitchen. Each meal is prepared by the partner restaurant attributed to it in the App.
Mizan Meals is responsible for the subscription experience, the App, customer support, and overall service standards. The partner restaurants are responsible for the preparation, cooking, and packaging of their meals. By subscribing, you acknowledge that meal taste, presentation, and ingredient sourcing may vary across partner restaurants.
Allergies, Health, and Nutritional Information
Mizan Meals provides nutritional and ingredient information for educational purposes only. Macros (protein, carbs, fat, calories) are calculated by us and our partner restaurants based on standard recipes; actual values may vary slightly from meal to meal.
While we filter the menu based on the allergies and dislikes you select in the App, our partner restaurants prepare meals in shared kitchens that may handle common allergens including but not limited to nuts, peanuts, dairy, gluten, eggs, soy, fish, and shellfish. We cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contact.
Any health, weight, or fitness results referenced on the App, whether by Mizan Meals or others, are not guaranteed. Your results may vary considerably. Mizan Meals does not make any express or implied claims that you will achieve any specific outcome through the use of our subscription service. Mizan Meals subscription plans are not medically supervised.
You should seek the advice of a physician or registered dietitian before starting any dietary program to ensure it is suitable for your specific needs. If you have a severe allergy or medical condition, please contact us before subscribing so we can flag your account.
Promotions and Contests
From time to time, Mizan Meals may offer promotions, referral programs, or contests in which you may receive meals, credits, merchandise, or other items (each, a "Promotion"). By participating in a Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any specific Promotion rules. We reserve the right to disqualify any participant we believe has violated the Promotion rules, attempted to undermine the operation of a Promotion, or acted fraudulently.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Mizan Meals App and website—including the Mizan Meals name, logo, brand, designs, photography, illustrations, copy, code, and overall look and feel—is owned or licensed by Mizan Meals and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other proprietary rights.
Mizan Meals grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our prior written permission.
Trademarks
Mizan Meals and the Mizan Meals logos and other related marks, design marks, product names, feature names, and related logos used in the App are trademarks of Mizan Meals and may not be used, copied, or imitated, in whole or in part, without our prior written permission. The look and feel of the App constitutes the service mark, trademark, and trade dress of Mizan Meals.
All other trademarks, service marks, logos, slogans, domain names, and trade names referenced through the App, including those of our partner restaurants, are the property of their respective owners.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable Qatari law.
- Provide false, misleading, or impersonated information when creating an account or placing an order.
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit any meal delivered through the Service.
- Use any robot, scraper, data-mining tool, or other automated means to access the App or extract content.
- Attempt to interfere with, probe, or test the security of the App or its servers, or to bypass any access controls.
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or otherwise mistreat our staff, partner restaurants, or delivery partners.
- Upload or transmit any content that is harmful, defamatory, sexually explicit, or that violates the rights of others.
- Use the App to send unsolicited communications, spam, or advertisements not authorized by us.
- Use a buying agent or third-party intermediary to conduct transactions on the App.
User Reviews, Comments, and Submissions
If the App allows you to submit reviews, ratings, photos, comments, or other content ("User Content"), you agree that any User Content you submit will: (i) be accurate; (ii) not violate any law or regulation; (iii) not infringe the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights; and (iv) not contain harmful, obscene, defamatory, or illegal material.
By submitting User Content, you grant Mizan Meals a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute your User Content in connection with operating and promoting the App. You represent and warrant that you have the right to grant this license.
We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to monitor, edit, remove, or refuse to display any User Content at our discretion.
Push Notifications and Communications
By creating an account, you consent to receiving electronic communications from Mizan Meals related to your subscription, deliveries, account, and service updates, including via push notifications, SMS, WhatsApp, and email. Marketing communications can be opted out of at any time through the App settings or by following the unsubscribe instructions in the message.
Account Termination by Mizan Meals
Mizan Meals reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend, terminate, or refuse service to any account: (i) that violates these Terms; (ii) that has engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful behavior; (iii) where required by law; or (iv) for any other reason. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease.
Termination of your account does not entitle you to a refund of any amount paid for an active subscription, and Mizan Meals will not be liable to you or any third party for the termination.
Links to Third Parties
The App may contain links to third-party websites or services, including those of our partner restaurants and delivery providers. Mizan Meals does not endorse and is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site or service. Your use of any third-party site is at your own risk and is governed by the terms and policies of that third party.
Healthcare Disclaimer
ANY HEALTHCARE OR NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH THE APP IS INTENDED FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. IT IS NOT INTENDED AS MEDICAL ADVICE FOR INDIVIDUAL CONDITIONS OR TREATMENT, IT IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR A MEDICAL EXAM OR CONSULTATION WITH A LICENSED PROFESSIONAL, AND IT DOES NOT REPLACE THE NEED FOR SERVICES PROVIDED BY MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS.
Release
Your use of the App is voluntary. Because some of the information in the App may relate to modifications to your diet, you agree to use your good judgment and reasonable care prior to making any changes to your lifestyle. By using the App, you assume the risks associated with the activities in which you participate, which may include the risk of an allergic reaction, foodborne illness, or other adverse health event.
You knowingly and voluntarily release, waive, and forever discharge Mizan Meals, its employees, agents, partners, and affiliates from any and all liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of your use of the App or any meal delivered through it, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY QATARI LAW, MIZAN MEALS AND ITS EMPLOYEES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, AGENTS, AND PARTNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO MIZAN MEALS IN THE THIRTY (30) DAYS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Indemnification
As a condition of using the App, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mizan Meals and its employees, directors, officers, agents, vendors, and partners from and against any liabilities, losses, claims, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (i) your use of the App; (ii) any User Content submitted by you; or (iii) your breach of these Terms.
Force Majeure
Mizan Meals shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these Terms caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, war, civil unrest, government actions, internet or telecommunications outages, or third-party failures (including those of payment processors, partner restaurants, and delivery services).
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Qatar. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Qatar.
Modification of Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. You can determine when these Terms were last revised by referring to the "Last Updated" date below.
Miscellaneous
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mizan Meals with respect to the App and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, agreements, and proposals. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of that provision.
